God's Wrath Against Mankind
18The wrath of God is being revealed from heaven against all the godlessness and wickedness of men who suppress the truth by their wickedness, 19since what may be known about God is plain to them, because God has made it plain to them. 20For since the creation of the world God's invisible qualities—his eternal power and divine nature—have been clearly seen, being understood from what has been made, so that men are without excuse.
21For although they knew God, they neither glorified him as God nor gave thanks to him, but their thinking became futile and their foolish hearts were darkened. 22Although they claimed to be wise, they became fools 23and exchanged the glory of the immortal God for images made to look like mortal man and birds and animals and reptiles.

I got up 4a, working on my paper and sent it off with 1 eye open. I just saw quiz on John thirty-two:sixteen wouldn't be need homework, says Kale. You have to know what you are studying for. It should’ve said 3:16. I'm famous for getting ahead of myself. I thought it didn't mail out completely and sent an attachment to the first problemed receiver. But gladly saw most of the people got it. I was working on my fiction earlier today. The star character decided to take the law in his own hands and I saw why. Look at how unjust everything is nowadays. For the world to feel like they're getting what they deserve, they think they have to be illicit. Not so for the Christian. S/he knows Lord God Almighty is taking care of everything. 1 Corinthians 7:2 2But since there is so much immorality, each man should have his own wife, and each woman her own husband. Take a moment today to remember those who have given their lives for the freedom of America, and honor them. Also, don’t forget to honor those who continue to serve today. Without them, who knows neither what language we would be speaking nor what kind of lives we would be having, but chances are we wouldn’t like it. . Get an HEAD. I learn that's the latter channels. God Almighty has for you comforting riches, reassuring resources, soothing treasures, calming reserves, cheering materials, and consoling rest. I cannot count the number of times Dad told me inner peace is immeasurably invaluable, 1 Corinthians 14:18 18 I thank God Almighty that I speak in tongues more than all of you. Unhelpfulness opens a door for extra hideousness. What does that mean to you? To me, it ,means pessimism opens a door for supplementary unsightly. Make the choice to get on a positive path. Disapproval opens a door for added revolting. I want to help people because in Ecuador I saw lack of enthusiasm opens a door for further repulsiveness. Serve Jesus Christ with utmost dedication. Give Lord Jesus greatest praise. Make the King the highest on your to do list. It should be your most extreme, chief concern. If you have Spiritual discernment, you see shunning the very appearance of evil is a supreme need of yours. God Almighty is your maximum need to receive praise from you. The stats on that are unknown. But it’s common to reject the thing made available to you. When telemarketers call, very, very few people hear them out. Who watches paid TV? If it’s something you really need, you listen sometimes. Everybody really needs salvation very, very much. Lord Jesus told me to give a testimony in college because it’s very, very important. I abided and a very, very tall man said he was turning twenty-one and because of what I said he was going to his phone and calling off his get drunk party. I felt so good about that. THE HARDER IT IS TO GET OUT, THE MORE WE WRONGLY LOOK TO PEOPLE FFOR HELP. There was a boy telling classmates about a Sunday school lesson. Jonah and the big fish. The teacher said impossible, concerning the dimensions, acid, and all. The boy said he'd ask Jonah when he gets to heaven. The teacher said what if he isn't there. The boy said she'll have to ask him. Instead of the big fish, the Bible says creature.

13 Instead, the men did their best to row back to land. But they could not, for the sea grew even wilder than before. 14 Then they cried to the LORD, "O LORD, please do not let us die for taking this man's life. Do not hold us accountable for killing an innocent man, for you, O LORD, have done as you pleased." 15 Then they took Jonah and threw him overboard, and the raging sea grew calm. 16 At this the men greatly feared the LORD, and they offered a sacrifice to the LORD and made vows to him.
There's no atheist on a plane going down. You call to somebody. Jonah. He knew what God Almighty will do for the Ninevites. The ship knew if they rid themselves of Jonah, God Almighty could turn His anger to them. Jonah wanted to die and said throw me in. It’s A Mad, Mad World is funny. Dick is sick. Please pray for him. On the way here, a woman hollered at Mom. She had an angry, vile face. Ernestine doesn’t know her. I cannot get her name. Somebody says they think they own the road, walking their dog, but they didn't have a dog. The class is talking about forgetting about what you are going after. I say I have that problem all the time, but I think I'm blown off because I'm only 34. My traumatic brain injury means I'm very, very forgetful. It makes me happy to see I'm not alone. I put instant coffee in my cup and heat it. Yuck. It’s brew coffee. Ernestine says I didn't do it hot enough and put a lot in it. I saw that. But a lot came in the spoon. Please pray my Grizzly Adams DVDs return. I got bad ones for Christmas, sent them back for return, but I got nothing! Since I was in diapers, I loved Grizzly Adams! Little did I know 181 women would turn me down as a toddler. When I dipped my spoon in the coffee, I saw great difference. More than I'm used to. Heated it still isn't instant. Jonathan is here, but he soon leaves, sick. Sister Yang will be at church next week. Prayer without the option for requests begins. I would've asked prayer for the angry lady. I pray for her silently. Jonah, the more you look, the more you see. Study from day 1. You’ll be surprised at what you find. Be persistent. Do not procrastinate. Sometimes we think we’re so smart. It will not be as easy as you think. Stuff you do not know is there. Jonah means dove. Nilda says ‘dove,’ but I think it may be ‘dove.’ Jonah was from the tribe Zebulun. Jonah was the only minor prophet mentioned by Jesus. Book of Jonah starts right off the bat.

Jonah Flees From the LORD
1 The word of the LORD came to Jonah son of Amittai: 2 "Go to the great city of Nineveh and preach against it, because its wickedness has come up before me."

3 But Jonah ran away from the LORD and headed for Tarshish. He went down to Joppa, where he found a ship bound for that port. After paying the fare, he went aboard and sailed for Tarshish to flee from the LORD.

Nineveh was great and evil. They had power and wealth. And size. Jonah went the other way. To Tarshish—now Spain. Not God Almighty’s will. Nineveh is capital of Sierra. Jonah didn't think he should preach to the Ninevites. Jonah knew God Almighty’s heart. Jonah is more than a cute story. He was judgmental. He said to preach to the Ninevites would be a waste of time
2 Kings 14:25
25 He was the one who restored the boundaries of Israel from Lebo [a] Hamath to the Sea of the Arabah, [b] in accordance with the word of the LORD, the God Almighty of Israel, spoken through his servant Jonah son of Amittai, the prophet from Gath Hepher.

He had knowledge to know what preaching to the Ninevites would do. Salvation. He was different. He wanted them dead. I keep yawning because I've been proofreading my fiction all day. Then reading fiction the rest of it, all after my daily reading the Bible. I'm eager to start writing a new book. I'm tired of the characters. Ninevites were evil.

Jonah's Prayer

The Lord prepared the fish. Everything was done by the Lord. Some people do not believe it happened. My theology teacher in college said parables were told on and on then written down. God Almighty created heaven and earth. Why can He not create this? Do not lean on your own understanding, says Gery. Her daughter and I went on a thousand dates, but she was always married too. But it was still my first taste of dating. Georgia is where I drove junk. The first schools had the Bible. The same Private/Christian College that said parables were passed down vocally then written also had a 30 page text on the big bang theory. Many movies have your life flashing before you before you die. Jonah calls to God Almighty. God Almighty answers.

10 This terrified them and they asked, "What have you done?" (They knew he was running away from the LORD, because he had already told them so.)

11 The sea was getting rougher and rougher. So they asked him, "What should we do to you to make the sea calm down for us?"

12 "Pick me up and throw me into the sea," he replied, "and it will become calm. I know that it is my fault that this great storm has come upon you."

Nilda’s client isn't going to heaven said she because she doesn’t believe in it. Yes, Nilda and we pray for her. You too? Believing is a choice. If you get saved but do not believe in Jesus, what do you have to lose? Jonah had the job to preach. He didn't think they'd listen. They were opposed. He said it was a waste of time. Look more deeply. You see Jonah knew God Almighty’s heart. They'd repent and God Almighty would save them. We’ll help the needy. How many cults do we help? I tell about my prayer 2 days aGO. (It capitalized itself.) God Almighty woke me 3a to say pray for Pam. I said no. God Almighty said yes. I did. Then as I was praying God Almighty was reminding me Pam didn't do anything. It was her boyfriend’s stepdad. I can go out with her. She didn't reject me. Jonah looked like he was going, but ran away from God Almighty. Jonah went to ?For God Almighty so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. For God Almighty sent not His Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved. He that believeth on him is not condemned; but he that believeth not is condemned already because he hath not believed in the only begotten Son of God Almighty.? John 3:16-18

TEXT VERSE: 1 Thessalonians 2:13 ?For this cause also thank we God Almighty without ceasing, because, when ye received the word of God Almighty which ye heard of us, ye received it not as the word of men, but as it is in truth, the word of God Almighty, which effectually worketh also in you that believe.?

Thank God Almighty, there’s always a cause for what we do. I remember in the Bible when David's dad told him to take some food out to his brothers in the valley. He took it to them and they kind of rebuked him and said he only wanted to come and see the battle. They told David to go away and that stirred David’s heart and he said, is there not a cause why I’ve come? Thank God Almighty there’s a cause. in everything we do. The Lord is still in charge. Paul said to thank God Almighty without ceasing because when you received the word of God Almighty which ye heard of us, ye received it not as the word of men, but as it is in truth, the word of God Almighty which effectually worketh also in you that believe. Now I want to preach to you on the working of the Word.

There’s a lot of people in the world today that have tried a lot of other things than the Lord Jesus. We’re living in a world where it seems change is always on the boundaries and on the first and foremost portion of people’s lives. They always want change and they are always wanting something bigger and better. I want to tell you that there is nothing any bigger or any better than the precious word of God Almighty. I don’t know what we’d do today if we didn’t have the word of God Almighty to govern our lives. The reason why most Christians are living like they do is because they are lacking the word of God Almighty. One thing that will work when nothing else will is the word of God Almighty. I like to shout the victory just as much s anybody does but it’s not till the word of god comes on the scene that there’s a change that will make things better in your life. There’s nothing any more precious this side of heaven than the word of God Almighty. But there’s a lot of people today that are lacking in this sense. How long has the word been around? John 1 says that in the beginning was the word and the word was with God Almighty and the word was God Almighty. Before the foundation was formed, the word of God Almighty was around. When the word of God Almighty starts dealing with you on the inside...it will work. You Christians that don’t get the word of God Almighty today....Shame on you. Don’t you try to live a Christian life without the word of God Almighty. How can you get it? It only comes one way. It comes by Jesus.
In Isaiah 55:11? So shall my word be that goeth forth out of my mouth: it shall not return unto me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper in the thing whereto I sent it.?
What does it take for you to get saved? It took the preached word. What does it take for you to shout? It takes the word of God Almighty. What changes your life? The working of the word of God Almighty.
I’m going to be just as honest as I can be. It’s very easy for us to come into the house of God Almighty and sit on the pew and call our selves Christians. But is the word of God Almighty working in your life? It’s good to come and shout the victory. It’s good to praise God Almighty. It’s good to sing the songs of Zion but it’s takes a whole lot more than that...it takes the word of God Almighty working in you. Let me say this. I wonder how good the word of God Almighty is working in Christians. You don’t say Amen unless you’re doing what God Almighty says. The intent of the word is to change people’s lives. They’ll come in here and sit in the house of God Almighty and come time to take up the offering, they’ll stick a dollar or two in the offering plate and the house of God Almighty will suffer week after week. Yet they claim that the word of God Almighty is working in their life. I have news for you...it isn’t. You can jump up and shout when you start giving your offerings. This is serious business. The word of God Almighty has to work in peoples lives.

Jonah went, bought a ticket, and is on his way to Tarsish. God Almighty is shouting and everybody hears. He doesn’t fear the Lord. Nobody can hide from God Almighty. I say Adam and Eve tried, but nobody acts like I'm heard. Jonah was a prophet and should've known better than this. They do not know he is calling to God Almighty. He is sleeping. (I think of Jesus sleeping in the boat, then again, I'm reading through the Bible an 18th time. That makes me relate a little bit everything to my life in the Bible.) He is called to share. The lot falls on Jonah. I think of “a lot” falling on him. Jonah is not responding.
In a hundred years, there'll be 1200 months. Since it takes me 8 months to read the Bible, I would have it read 150 times… in a hundred years. I started reading the Bible twenty-3 years old.

Christ is Lord. Some Christians are serving fifteen year jail sentences. Righteousness is a crime. Jail is a very, very common thing among Chinese Christians. Some have been 10 times plus. It’s unfair how the police casts an unjust eye inequitably on the Christian in an iniquitous way. it’s not a free ride to heaven. Christians are daily arrested. The strait path is seen as the wrong path. But there's joy in the jail because God Almighty is there. A Christian on the screen is talking about how her 3 year term in jail .happened so quickly. Soon over. God Almighty was there giving. comfort though they were tortured. Prisoners are thankful for the great joy experienced in jail. The speaker was about to be married whence arrested and after release, the love had greatly grown more than ever! I think of my desire to get married, then desire to change, prayer, the 181 rejections, now marriage is the last thing I want and I thank God Almighty day. God Almighty’s love only grows. Explanatory

Genesis closes with Israel and his 12 sons living in Egypt. They went to Egypt under the protection of Joseph, Israel's son, to escape the famine in Canaan, the land of their inheritance under the Abrahamic Covenant.

In Egypt, they would live as free men until the Pharaoh of Joseph's time died. Then they would become slaves of the Egyptians for 400/430 years (Ge 15:13) and answer the question.

Here God is clearly associating His Name Jehovah with His covenant promises to Abraham. Thus Jehovah is His precious Name that links Him irrevocably through the Abrahamic covenant with Israel. It is the Name so sacred to the Jews that they will not pronounce it in the Synagogue, instead substituting "Adonai" (Master) or simply saying "the Name".



Explanatory Note:

Since the Name "Jehovah" (Yahweh) occurs in Genesis in association with the patriarchs, how is it that He did not reveal Himself as Jehovah to them? I agree with Ryrie who states that "The name Yahweh was known to the patriarchs (Ge 13:4), but its significance as the One who would redeem Israel from Egyptian bondage was not known until this time." The subsequent events by which He would redeem the sons of Israel from bondage in Egypt would amply demonstrate Jehovah's character as the personal (there are 7 "I wills" in Ex 6:6, 7, 8), covenant-keeping God, faithful to His promises, and the Lord of history. Thus although the Name "Jehovah" had been used in Genesis the patriarchs did not grasp the mighty implications of this Name which would now take on new significance.

On top of the ark was a lid called the Mercy Seat. Hovering above the Mercy Seat were two cherubim, with outstretched wings. The ark contained the tables of stone, a pot of manna, and Aaron's rod that budded. There we meet Jesus, God incarnate, Who, before Abraham was born, was the I AM, one with the Father.



In Ex 33:9 we read that "whenever Moses entered the tent, the pillar of cloud ("Shekinah Glory Cloud") would descend and stand at the entrance of the tent; and the LORD would speak with Moses."

The Abrahamic
Covenant

God made a covenant with Abraham promising him primarily two things: a seed and a land. The Abrahamic Covenant was also ratified with Isaac, Jacob (name changed to Israel), and his sons who comprised the nation of Israel.


The Old Covenant
of Law

430 (400) years later, God made a covenant of Law with the nation of Israel. Moses was the mediator of that covenant. God spoke to Moses. Moses spoke to the people.

The Old Covenant, or the Law, centered around the tabernacle and the related ceremonies and sacrifices. The earthly tabernacle was built under Moses' direction after the pattern of God's heavenly tabernacle. Therefore, the tabernacle served as an integral part of the Old Covenant. What the earthly tabernacle was to the Old Covenant, the true tabernacle in heaven is to the New Covenant (Hebrews 8:5-see note)




The New Covenant
of Grace

Through Jeremiah, the prophet, God promised the New Covenant in Jer 31:31, 32, 33, 34,



Although not using the term "New Covenant", the following passages are clearly allusions in the Old Testament to the New Covenant = Is 59:20, 21; Jer. 32:37, 38, 39, 40; Zech 9:11 Ezek. 16:60, 61, 62, 63; 34:25, 26, 27, 28, 29, 30, 31, 37:21, 22, 23, 24, 25, 26, 27, 28)

Jesus was the mediator of the New Covenant, a better covenant than the Law.

When the New Covenant was inaugurated by Jesus Christ, the Old Covenant became obsolete.

Jesus our High Priest) has obtained a more excellent ministry (far superior to the ministry of those who serve under the old laws), by as much as (to the degree that) He is also the mediator of a better covenant, which has been enacted on better promises. The covenant is “better” because it is absolute not conditional, spiritual not carnal, universal not local, eternal not temporal, individual not national, internal not external. (Griffith Thomas)



First, there is a comparison. Christ’s ministry is as superior to the ministry of the Aaronic priests as the covenant He meditates is superior to the old one.


Second, a reason is given: the covenant is better because it is enacted on better promises.


Christ’s ministry is infinitely better. He offered Himself, not an animal. He presented the value of His own blood, not the blood of bulls and goats. He put away sins, not merely covered them. He gave believers a perfect conscience, not an annual reminder of sins. He opened the way for us to enter into the presence of God, not to stand outside at a distance.



It is a better covenant because it is founded on better promises. The covenant of law promised blessing for obedience but threatened death for disobedience. It required righteousness but did not give the ability to produce it.



The New Covenant is an unconditional covenant of grace which is entered into by faith.



The New Covenant imputes righteousness (1Cor 1:30, 2Cor 5:21) where there is none.



The New Covenant teaches men to live righteously (Titus 2:11, 12), empowers them to do so (1Cor 15:10, 2Cor 12:9, 10), and rewards them when they do (2Cor 5:9,10, 1Cor 3:10, 11, 12, 13, 14, 15, Col 3:23, 24, 25, Eph 6:7, 8, Rev 22:12).

When we first read this quotation from Genesis, we find it difficult to see how Paul found such a meaning in it. Yet the Holy Spirit, who wrote that verse in the OT, knew that it contained the gospel of salvation by faith to all nations. Since Paul was writing by inspiration of the same Holy Spirit, he was enabled to explain to us the underlying meaning: In you—that is, along with Abraham, in the same way as Abraham. All the nations—the Gentiles as well as the Jews. Shall be blessed—be saved. How was Abraham saved? By faith. How will the nations be saved? In the same way as Abraham—by faith. John MacArthur on Gal 3:8...



The only Scripture available to Paul at this time was what? The Old Testament. So he uses the Old Testament to defend salvation by faith. That's important, because there are many people who think the Old Testament teaches that you are saved by works. It does not teach that. God is always consistent and salvation is always by faith. You couldn't make yourself righteous in the Old Testament any more than you can in the New Testament. It is the same incapacity man has had since the fall, so salvation has always been by faith.



So what you really have in this section (Gal 3:6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, 13, 14,15, 16) is a theology of the Old Testament. If you want to know how people were saved in the Old Testament, just read through here and you'll find out. It's the same way they are saved at any time: by faith in God's revelation. You say, "Did they have to believe in everything? Did they have to believe in the death of Christ, the resurrection of Christ and the Second Coming?" Of course not. They had to believe as much as God had revealed. At any point in time, a man was required to believe all God had said. If a man was living in the time of Adam, God hadn't said that much. He had to believe all that God had revealed (cp see Cain's faith in Heb 11:4-note). If the man was living later on, in the time of Moses, God began to reveal more and man had to believe all that God had revealed. For the man who lives post-New Testament, he has to believe all God revealed, up through the fullness of salvation as seen in Jesus Christ....



Gal 3:8. "And the Scripture," and here, he gets into the heavy part of his argument and starts quoting Scripture. "The Scripture, foreseeing that God would justify the Gentiles by faith, preached before the Gospel unto Abraham, saying, 'In thee shall all nations be blessed.'" Hang onto this, because we have to kind of untangle this verse to get into the logic of Paul.

Here is his direct answer. Notice the word 'Gospel.' It means 'good news.' What is the good news that God wants to give us? Salvation by faith. Did He give that to Abraham? He certainly did. "He preached before the good news that salvation comes by faith unto Abraham." But he preached also that God would justify the Gentiles by faith, that all the nations down through the ages would be justified by faith, as well as the Jews. Sure, he didn't just say, "Your seed will be blessed." He said, "In thee will all the nations of the Earth be blessed." So at the very time when Abraham was given the promise, God told Abraham that Gentile nations would be saved by faith. Listen, the proof in that verse is simply this: "In thee shall all nations be blessed." That means that nations (Gentiles) will be blessed through the seed of Abraham. They don't have to become Jews. The Scripture doesn't say, "All the nations will become what you are." No, all the nations will be blessed through the seed (the Messiah) that comes. (Blessed or Cursed) (Bolding added)


(In another sermon Dr MacArthur says) So Paul says, "Even the Old Testament predicted this, that all nations as nations, Gentiles as Gentiles, would be able to be blessed in Abraham through faith. The key words are there in the middle of the verse: through faith. So God is going to justify the Gentiles not by circumcision but through faith. That's what God meant when He said to Abraham, "Through you will all nations be blessed."


What does it mean, "In you will all nations be blessed?" Well, it was simply this. That through the loins of Abraham became whom? Messiah. So it was in Messiah that all were blessed. Take that far enough back, and it was the seed of Abraham that became the One who blessed all. He said, "In you, in your seed, in your loins is that which will come and be a blessing to all." So in the very calling of Abraham, in the end of Gal 3:8, was the promise that Gentiles could be saved as Gentiles. They didn't have to become Jews. They didn't have to get circumcised and keep all the ceremony and the law.

So Paul says, "Abraham was justified by faith. Anyone else who believes like Abraham did is the spiritual child of Abraham." God, from the very start, told Abraham that the Gentiles would be saved through faith. There was coming one from his loins who would be the one to bless all nations as nations. That assumed that they wouldn't become Jews. If 'all nations' were being blessed, they would have to be other than Jews. Otherwise, it would say, "In you shall everyone be blessed who becomes a Jew." No. "In you will all nations be blessed." So Paul proves his point. (Salvation Is by Faith Alone) (Bolding added)

What was it that the Scriptures “foresaw” and “preached beforehand” to Abraham? Simply this: the good news of salvation was to be extended to all peoples, including the Gentiles, who would be declared righteous by God, just like Abraham, on the basis of faith. Thus Paul interpreted the Genesis quotation “All nations will be blessed through you” in a far richer sense than traditional Jewish exegesis allowed. Through the Jewish people the world had received many wonderful benefits, above all the sacred Scriptures and the religion of monotheism. However, Paul went much further when “he simply identifies the blessing with God’s ‘grace’ and his ‘justification by faith.’” Abraham was special because centuries before Jesus was born he received in this word from God the promise of the Messiah and believed. The official was not authorized to discuss the budget before its public release. Beave had an old buddy visit and they found they'd outgrown each other. People out to get married put on a show to attract a spouse. But time shows them how different they really are. My high school friends weren't really the group I liked. I liked the girls they hung out with. But then time showed I didn't really like them either. Don't get me wrong. I loved them as Jesus’ children. But they're not who I was happiest hanging out with. Newlyweds like the beginning, but there's a lot of adjusting that has to take place. US government has a technology, called a printing press, that allows it to produce as many US dollars as it wishes at essentially no cost. Instead of paying its debt, the States prints up more money. Pray, pray, pray, pray, pray, pray for the US Government. The Bible needs to be back in the schools. So does the Pledge. Revolution is needed by America. Rebellion. Revolt. Uprising. I started reading it when my coma was fresh and got the feel for the rare resources you have if you fail. Until you fail you'll be without those needed resources. Look at Job’s dramatic loss and huge rebound. My social life is a hundred percent different, but I'm also hundred percent happier. It was the loss of hopes and dreams that gave me the needed perspective. Hate is a cause of violent acts, but all errors are covered up by love. Proverbs 10:12 I had my first book written. I kept getting a disk error and had a man who took a class on computers. He erased my book! 505 pages!!!! It was the first book I ever wrote and very, very special to me. But it got me in the habit of making disk copies and helped me restructure my plot. Therefore confess your sins to each other and pray for each other so that you may be healed. The prayer of a righteous man is powerful and effective.

It reminds me of a cult leader. His dad was a preacher. The son knew he had a purpose, but presumed it was to board a UFO. Then they killed themselves. Waiting for the UFO. You will not fulfill your purpose unless you are doing God’s will. Sometimes unfair things are happening to you. You are the pitcher and because the first baseman is running after the ball, you have to cover his base. WHAT! You are the pitcher! Not the first baseman! So? It’s a part removed to make room for another part you needed that you didn't know you needed till now. You'll be able to tell people are praying for you. You witness things happening to see symbolism represent meaning to speak for imagery to stand for significance to representation to correspond to implication. In other words you get a better understanding of the unfair things happening to you. You are in the world not of the world. No wonder the world feels justified taking what rightfully belongs to you! In rehab, I spent 1-2 years reflecting and talking about what I remembered, which I found helped me remember more stuff that helped me remember more stuff that helped me remember more stuff that helped me remember more stuff that…. You do that 2 yrs, and you'll remember more than you thought possible. I HATED rehab very, very much! I prayed for a release every night! Then after I graduated, I missed it! DO WHAT! That's what I'm talking about! After my old best friend served a decade in jail, he was very lonely. 8 hours away I said I experienced the same thing out of rehab. But now I've adjusted to it and the 181 rejections helped me see the bright side is I'm benefitted above everything. The coolest guy in school and I were talking after graduation and I said I used to look around the class and couldn't see ANY reason everybody picked on me like they did. (I walked in defeat!) But by saying that, I realized they were pulling me down to their level. He agreed completely and that was flattering to me. He dated ‘the most attractive.’ Greed is a fat demon with a small mouth and whatever you feed it is never enough. That's a Marcel Proust quote. IF you know a druggy, you know greed. All that matters is if they get that score. I even had a good friend steal from Papa and he got arrested the same time my little brother got put in jail one of many times. He saw him and was contrite, said Justin, like you wouldn't believe. Actually bawling. I was too worried about him to feel any wrath, which was the very last thing he ever expected. I still pray for his safety. I know when drugs or alcohol are in you, you don't have control of what you do. The fact he was in jail the same time Justin was in jail, I see a divine appointment. Of course I came to mind when he saw Justin. A country based on traditional socialism would have a powerful central government that owns all businesses and thus employs all citizens, and pays them similar wages. A CEO would be just another government employee, who might make twice as much or maybe even 5 times as much as the lowest paid employee. Schools, retirement, mass transportation, and healthcare would be provided by the government.

America does have a large and powerful central government, most schools are government schools, and retirement is provided by the government. However, the average CEO makes about 50 times more than their lowest paid employee (some make 1000 times more), the government does not own businesses, and healthcare is not guaranteed.

The counter-cult movement (a.k.a. CCM or discernment ministries) is composed primarily of conservative Protestant Christian individuals and agencies who attempt to raise public concern about religious groups which they feel hold dangerous, non-traditional beliefs. Those in the CCM are sometimes called heresy hunters or heresiologists. CCM are strongly motivated by a concern for the spiritual welfare of people in the groups that they label as cults, aberrant sects, heretical religions, etc. Those in the CCM believe that any group that presents itself as a Christian faith group while rejecting one or more of the historical Protestant Christian beliefs endangers the salvation of its own members, and weakens the Christian religion itself. CCM ministries generally believe that God will send members of many "cults" to Hell after they die, because they have believed the false teachings of their faith groups. That is, they believe that salvation not only requires repentance and trusting Jesus as Lord and Savior; one must also believe the right things about Jesus.

That was something I just had the notion to look up. I feel so very bad for the people getting misled. While we do as we want it’s still our choice to make Jesus a part of it. Virtually every commentary states that 400 represents a "rounding off" of the number 430. In fairness it should be noted that some feel that the "rounding off" interpretation allows for too much liberty in the interpretation of other numbers in Scripture and could even "do damage" to the doctrine of divine inspiration. Scripture mentions both numbers and it wise to remember Paul's exhortation to Timothy to tell others "not to wrangle about words which is useless and leads to the ruin (Greek = catastrophe) of the hearers" (2Ti 2:14-note)

The Abrahamic
Covenant

God made a covenant with Abraham promising him primarily two things: a seed and a land. The Abrahamic Covenant was also ratified with Isaac, Jacob (name changed to Israel), and his sons who comprised the nation of Israel.


The Old Covenant
of Law

430 (400) years later, God made a covenant of Law with the nation of Israel. Moses was the mediator of that covenant. God spoke to Moses. Moses spoke to the people.

The Old Covenant, or the Law, centered around the tabernacle and the related ceremonies and sacrifices. The earthly tabernacle was built under Moses' direction after the pattern of God's heavenly tabernacle. Therefore, the tabernacle served as an integral part of the Old Covenant. What the earthly tabernacle was to the Old Covenant, the true tabernacle in heaven is to the New Covenant (Hebrews 8:5-see note)




The New Covenant
of Grace

Through Jeremiah, the prophet, God promised the New Covenant in Jer 31:31, 32, 33, 34,



Although not using the term "New Covenant", the following passages are clearly allusions in the Old Testament to the New Covenant = Is 59:20, 21; Jer. 32:37, 38, 39, 40; Zech 9:11 Ezek. 16:60, 61, 62, 63; 34:25, 26, 27, 28, 29, 30, 31, 37:21, 22, 23, 24, 25, 26, 27, 28)



Here are New Testament passages relating to the New Covenant = Mt 26:26, 27, 28, 29, Lk 22:18, 29, 30. cp Is 25:6, Mt 8:11, Lk 22:19, 20, Mark 14:24, 25, 26, Heb 13:20, Ezek 11:19,20; 18:31; 36:26,27)

Jesus was the mediator of the New Covenant, a better covenant than the Law.

When the New Covenant was inaugurated by Jesus Christ, the Old Covenant became obsolete.

Heb 8:6 (see note) But now He (Who is "He"? Jesus our High Priest) has obtained a more excellent ministry (far superior to the ministry of those who serve under the old laws), by as much as (to the degree that) He is also the mediator of a better covenant, which has been enacted on better promises. Heb 8:7 For if that first covenant had been faultless (The “fault” or limitation in the first covenant was not in its inherent righteousness, but in its design from God himself. It was never intended to be his final revelation or provision for mankind; it was provisional, always pointing toward the fulfillment to come in Christ), there would have been no occasion sought for a second. The covenant is “better” because it is absolute not conditional, spiritual not carnal, universal not local, eternal not temporal, individual not national, internal not external. (Griffith Thomas)



First, there is a comparison. Christ’s ministry is as superior to the ministry of the Aaronic priests as the covenant He meditates is superior to the old one.


Second, a reason is given: the covenant is better because it is enacted on better promises.


Christ’s ministry is infinitely better. He offered Himself, not an animal. He presented the value of His own blood, not the blood of bulls and goats. He put away sins, not merely covered them. He gave believers a perfect conscience, not an annual reminder of sins. He opened the way for us to enter into the presence of God, not to stand outside at a distance.



It is a better covenant because it is founded on better promises. The covenant of law promised blessing for obedience but threatened death for disobedience. It required righteousness but did not give the ability to produce it.



The New Covenant is an unconditional covenant of grace which is entered into by faith.



The New Covenant imputes righteousness (1Cor 1:30, 2Cor 5:21) where there is none.



The New Covenant teaches men to live righteously (Titus 2:11, 12), empowers them to do so (1Cor 15:10, 2Cor 12:9, 10), and rewards them when they do (2Cor 5:9,10, 1Cor 3:10, 11, 12, 13, 14, 15, Col 3:23, 24, 25, Eph 6:7, 8, Rev 22:12).

William MacDonald on Gal 3:8...



When we first read this quotation from Genesis, we find it difficult to see how Paul found such a meaning in it. Yet the Holy Spirit, who wrote that verse in the OT, knew that it contained the gospel of salvation by faith to all nations. Since Paul was writing by inspiration of the same Holy Spirit, he was enabled to explain to us the underlying meaning: In you—that is, along with Abraham, in the same way as Abraham. All the nations—the Gentiles as well as the Jews. Shall be blessed—be saved. How was Abraham saved? By faith. How will the nations be saved? In the same way as Abraham—by faith. John MacArthur on Gal 3:8...



The only Scripture available to Paul at this time was what? The Old Testament. So he uses the Old Testament to defend salvation by faith. That's important, because there are many people who think the Old Testament teaches that you are saved by works. It does not teach that. God is always consistent and salvation is always by faith. You couldn't make yourself righteous in the Old Testament any more than you can in the New Testament. It is the same incapacity man has had since the fall, so salvation has always been by faith.



So what you really have in this section (Gal 3:6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, 13, 14,15, 16) is a theology of the Old Testament. If you want to know how people were saved in the Old Testament, just read through here and you'll find out. It's the same way they are saved at any time: by faith in God's revelation. You say, "Did they have to believe in everything? Did they have to believe in the death of Christ, the resurrection of Christ and the Second Coming?" Of course not. They had to believe as much as God had revealed. At any point in time, a man was required to believe all God had said. If a man was living in the time of Adam, God hadn't said that much. He had to believe all that God had revealed (cp see Cain's faith in Heb 11:4-note). If the man was living later on, in the time of Moses, God began to reveal more and man had to believe all that God had revealed. For the man who lives post-New Testament, he has to believe all God revealed, up through the fullness of salvation as seen in Jesus Christ....



Gal 3:8. "And the Scripture," and here, he gets into the heavy part of his argument and starts quoting Scripture. "The Scripture, foreseeing that God would justify the Gentiles by faith, preached before the Gospel unto Abraham, saying, 'In thee shall all nations be blessed.'" Hang onto this, because we have to kind of untangle this verse to get into the logic of Paul.

Here is his direct answer. Notice the word 'Gospel.' It means 'good news.' What is the good news that God wants to give us? Salvation by faith. Did He give that to Abraham? He certainly did. "He preached before the good news that salvation comes by faith unto Abraham." But he preached also that God would justify the Gentiles by faith, that all the nations down through the ages would be justified by faith, as well as the Jews. Sure, he didn't just say, "Your seed will be blessed." He said, "In thee will all the nations of the Earth be blessed." So at the very time when Abraham was given the promise, God told Abraham that Gentile nations would be saved by faith. Listen, the proof in that verse is simply this: "In thee shall all nations be blessed." That means that nations (Gentiles) will be blessed through the seed of Abraham. They don't have to become Jews. The Scripture doesn't say, "All the nations will become what you are." No, all the nations will be blessed through the seed (the Messiah) that comes. (Blessed or Cursed) (Bolding added)


(In another sermon Dr MacArthur says) So Paul says, "Even the Old Testament predicted this, that all nations as nations, Gentiles as Gentiles, would be able to be blessed in Abraham through faith. The key words are there in the middle of the verse: through faith. So God is going to justify the Gentiles not by circumcision but through faith. That's what God meant when He said to Abraham, "Through you will all nations be blessed."


What does it mean, "In you will all nations be blessed?" Well, it was simply this. That through the loins of Abraham became whom? Messiah. So it was in Messiah that all were blessed. Take that far enough back, and it was the seed of Abraham that became the One who blessed all. He said, "In you, in your seed, in your loins is that which will come and be a blessing to all." So in the very calling of Abraham, in the end of Gal 3:8, was the promise that Gentiles could be saved as Gentiles. They didn't have to become Jews. They didn't have to get circumcised and keep all the ceremony and the law.

So Paul says, "Abraham was justified by faith. Anyone else who believes like Abraham did is the spiritual child of Abraham." God, from the very start, told Abraham that the Gentiles would be saved through faith. There was coming one from his loins who would be the one to bless all nations as nations. That assumed that they wouldn't become Jews. If 'all nations' were being blessed, they would have to be other than Jews. Otherwise, it would say, "In you shall everyone be blessed who becomes a Jew." No. "In you will all nations be blessed." So Paul proves his point. (Salvation Is by Faith Alone) (Bolding added)

What was it that the Scriptures “foresaw” and “preached beforehand” to Abraham? Simply this: the good news of salvation was to be extended to all peoples, including the Gentiles, who would be declared righteous by God, just like Abraham, on the basis of faith. Thus Paul interpreted the Genesis quotation “All nations will be blessed through you” in a far richer sense than traditional Jewish exegesis allowed. Through the Jewish people the world had received many wonderful benefits, above all the sacred Scriptures and the religion of monotheism. However, Paul went much further when “he simply identifies the blessing with God’s ‘grace’ and his ‘justification by faith.’” Abraham was special because centuries before Jesus was born he received in this word from God the promise of the Messiah and believed. Paul’s exegesis at this point is really a commentary on the declaration of Jesus: “Abraham was overjoyed to see my day; he saw it and was glad” (John 8:56, NEB). (George, T. Vol. 30: Galatians. Blessings for Obedience
1 If you fully obey the LORD your God and carefully follow all his commands I give you today, the LORD your God will set you high above all the nations on earth. 2 All these blessings will come upon you and accompany you if you obey the LORD your God:

6 You will be blessed when you come in and blessed when you go out.

The birds are sin here. David sought ethibosheth. He wanted to bless him because of the Covenant. But that was the last thing ethibosheth expected. He thought he was coming to kill him. he wanted to bless him. David represents Jesus. Zipah represents our dry land. Many people do not know they are Covenant children. Like us.

Christ's Sacrifice Once for All

Zerubbabel (Hebrew: זְרֻבָּבֶל‎, Zərubbāvel; Greek: Ζοροβαβελ, Zŏrobabel; Latin: Zorobabel) was a governor of Judah (Haggai 1:1) and the grandson of Jehoiachin, penultimate king of Judah. Zerubbabel led the first band of Jews, numbering 42,360, who returned from the Babylonian Captivity in the first year of Cyrus, King of Persia (Ezra)(538 BC). Zerubbabel also laid the foundation of the Second Temple in Jerusalem the next year. Grace is gifts of the Spirit. GRACE

Think of success on a day to day, week to week, month to month, year to year, decade to decade sort of thing. Consider your expectations before you get started. Obstacles give you opportunity. Barack Obama is currently 45 minutes away from my house. He is in control of a lot. He has a large responsibility and every day, I'm sure, finds he cannot please everybody. Do what you were put on the earth to do. You have a reason for being here. The bullet train likely will bring change, but do you ever ask yourself if it'll be change for the better? People are going to Haiti and saving lives. Please pray for the rescuers and the people. My buddy, a veteran, in my traumatic brain injury group, always jumped to people’s need. He was very quick to spot the need. It was humbling to me. I just thought I was going to sneeze and it went away. UGH! Stuff like that sometimes happens. It feels like something for sure is about to prevail then it doesn’t. That can be bewildering. The Granny who met Hank Senior in a restaurant saw every Grand Ole Opry. When I was watching it with her as a little boy, there was a stuttering man that could sing just fine. That was about 3 decades ago. Then after my vocal nerve got paralyzed, I got on a similar page with him. Barack Obama is out to break the backbone of the recession. 1 of 10 Americans still cannot find work. US healthcare system is gobbling up more federal dollars than anything else. That's why they're looking so deeply into the problem. When you mess up, pick up your stuff and keep going. An immigrant on the radio said the reason America has so much trouble is unlike her country America has too many liberties. With many people out of work that've never been to jail looking for work, what do you think that makes felons looking for work look like? Mark 13:11 [-] In an office, my ride was in the parking lot behind a van. I went in, looking for her. Some secretaries very cautiously asked what I needed. She was very, very arrogant and nasal. There were 2 of them. I said I was looking for that person’s name. Cautious face she laughed under her breath and said she doesn’t work here, rolling her eyes. I said I came there with her and she's with her old boss. Everything they said was very, very proud and arrogant and the conversation they were previously carrying on had to have something to do with the attitude toward me. Then my ride appeared and asked why didn't I come outside and her x-boss said because they were behind the van. I was away, getting humiliated at the time. But I picked up a lesson. It wasn't to be polite because you couldn't be more polite than I was. But it was something else. Sometimes you are in just the right place for the flesh to humiliate you. It made me more tolerable. As was said in a previous Bible Paper, the more you have to tolerate, the more you can tolerate. I could tell something was up. She didn't just look at me. She set me in her beam. Sometimes there's a person that when I'm in a mood everything she says is very humiliating. Then other times when she rails me, I take it with a grain of salt. Oh, now I see why I felt led to tell about the humility that I felt when the woman was nasal and proud and arrogant with a target in mind. It was clear she didn't want me to be comfortable. The woman with her had been telling her something she hated about men. It makes me look at myself. That's a good thing to do when something happens and you see God Almighty is trying to give you a message. Was I too sensitive? Should I say she had a problem, pray for her, and go on about my way? Is it good to serve Jesus or arrogantly dwell on bad done to you? ? Just like Brett Favre having a good season he was known for, he also had a bad season. Take what happens to you and use it to make you a better person. Your character is all that matters. If you like what you do, you feel greater impelling to do a better job. Persevere and get it done. The proud and arrogant, nasal, laughing under her breath, makes me think of the vibrating cushion I messed up by sliding my chair over its wires. I folded the long cushion to get a greater arch under my back and let my back breathe like that in the morning and that makes the soreness disappear like nothing before. So the nasal talker purposely humiliating me changed my perspective to get me something better than I would have in the first place. This is a thing that makes Christianity better than everything. With a Savior like Jesus, what do you have to lose? After you surrender your soul to Jesus, He will show you things and your attitude will determine the effect of what you are shown. People will have their own opinion of what you are shown, but it’s you and your opinion that matter. Countless commercials emphasize what a huge difference it makes to go to a third world country and see the poverty there. It feels so good to help. That was the first time I understood my Granny’s charity like I did. And the verse it’s a blessing to be a blessing. Get in Godly surroundings. I just saw a cheerleader I club hopped with. It hit me I never saw my wreck’s driver and her together till I was in rehab. I was there when they started dating. How ironic. Then I got to thinking maybe they got together because of me. It’s possible they started dating because I was a link between them at the same time. Sometimes you'll be in bad need. You'll pray for help. Then more bad will happen. But insurance to buy a door actually made payments and gave me time to study. In a few months, the second anniversary since I started driving junk that broke down daily was taking place. That was another thing to add to my bewilderment that day. No matter how loud the lion roars, know that in Jesus you are a conqueror. You cannot conquer if you cannot stay together. Should I Use Eloquent Words?
Your prayers need not be wordy or impressive in speech.
When the lady thought the house was on fire because she smelled smoke and it wasn't chilly, Mom said she was burning out the chimney. She just built a fire and it’s 66 degrees. Why Should I Pray?

• Prayer Develops Our Relationship with God Almighty.
If we never speak to our spouse or never listen to anything our spouse might have to say to us, our marriage relationship will quickly deteriorate. It is the same way with God Almighty. Prayer—communicating with God Almighty—helps us grow closer and more intimately connected with God Almighty.

• The Lord Instructed Us to Pray.
One of the simplest reasons to spend time in prayer is because the Lord instructed us to pray. Obedience is a natural by-product of discipleship.

Matthew 26:41
"Keep alert and pray. Otherwise temptation will overpower you. For though the spirit is willing enough, the body is weak!" (NLT)

I know I'm always whining about the 181 women to reject me, but look at the relationship I got with Jesus. It’s unfair that I be so blessed in such an awkward way. I know it hurt very bad to go from always having female companionship whenever I wanted it to the state the traumatic brain injury put me in where it all disappeared was very hard. But it did its thing to my chemicals then went away. What a joy replaced it. Since the rejections turned me off, thoughts of writing turn me on much, much more than thoughts of women ever did. I decided since I couldn't read a page without getting over exhausted the year of my coma, but now I can read sixteen hours stopping only to eat, I’ll study books on acting and someday act. A traumatic brain injury survivor would be perfect for me. Sometimes we’re getting honed perfectly for the part we need to play in life. I was an utmost coward in school. Always ridiculed. I prayed and prayed and… for a relief. After loved ones lied to me, my extreme bitterness meant everybody quit picking on me. When you get used to nobody picking on you, you act in a way where they don't pick on you. But used to their picking on me meant I got easily picked on. I am in the latter stage of my fiction. It’s an all new fiction type and I want to start a series on its topic. In the latter stage. I’ll work on it ALL day. also, remembered I as I told William, I found movie producers I can try for. He prayed for with me for all that. In the nursery, there was a dog. Its neighbor had abused the dog. It was very, very panicky. Mom’s dog that I call mine has only been pampered his entire life. Every time there's a screech or thunder, he ferociously trembles. That reminds me. I got to the church sanctuary at 9:05a. Mom said we got there exactly 9a. I'm praying for my cousin, buddy Danielle’s health, my bygone home burned down after I moved and it left a huge burden on my soul I remembered that as I was on my way. My church is on Belcher road and John Wayne’s lawyer was Frank Belcher. I reached Belcher road 8:57a. I reach church 9:05, my watch says. Marlo is in my seat. I sit in another isle. I saw Gerry in the parking lot. I told her daughter about seeing the Abundant Life ministries sign and deciding to visit and she said her mom goes there. I was looking for confirmation and took it as that. It was 66 degrees as I left the house and a man on the sidewalk wore a long, heavy coat. That reminds me of how clinically cold nature I used to be. Before the traumatic brain injury. When I get in the sanctuary, I see somebody seated on the other side. I always choose this side. Lord Jesus tells me the things we see and feel at home effect our tastes at church and elsewhere. I think of my Private/Christian College College that lied about inability to get permission from my family to withdraw from a totally, totally overwhelming class after they'd said there's absolutely no way I could tote the load they were putting me in. They just want me to try! Then lied about inability to get permission! It didn't surprise me they did that. First day every quarter they said profanity was ok. I see Cindy Keehn half a second. For no connected reason I think of the rejections turning me off and my wanting nothing to do with rejecters ever and I have to ask myself is that proud and arrogant or just extinguished interest. Then I decide the nearing warm front brought that thought on. I want to wake everybody up because I'm very worried they're going to keep putting it off. God Almighty’s love is like the ocean. I've been praying as long as I could talk. About 2 years old. I'm filling my purpose. 9:29 Ernestine stops at my seat and waits. I feel like I'm in trouble again in school. Then she says she missed me yesterday and I say I missed her. (Bible Study.) Lord, sweep me away in your love. I pray for Ecuador and Haiti on my knees at a chair. I pray they learn from each other. Since I found movie producers, I started writing more than ever and have had a very, very tired brain. It’s why I forgot the chairs Wednesday. Well, that and by being in the latter stage I add extra effort.) God Almighty is a God Almighty Who loves me. I belong in this place. My kidneys are about to burst. I pray for revenues to reach more people with my sermons blog. I got in trouble for spamming last week, so now I need people to do the sharing. William tells me not to put him in my book and Birney does too. (As if nobody else has their name.) One time, there was a Michael House in an after school special.
